Shamika Williams

Shamika Williams, LCSWA (she/her), is a compassionate therapist who works with children, teens, and young adults by providing a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore emotions, build coping skills, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered techniques, tailoring each treatment plan to the unique needs, strengths, and experiences of every client and family she serves.

Shamika believes every child is like an acorn already holding everything needed to grow into their own unique oak tree. Her role is to nurture that growth by meeting clients exactly where they are, honoring their individual paths, and supporting development with warmth and intention. She collaborates closely with parents, caregivers, and other important adults in a child’s life to build consistency and understanding across home, school, and community settings.

Her work is grounded in child development and a strong commitment to culturally responsive care. Shamika strives to be a steady, safe presence, helping clients gently peel back layers to reach the root of emotional or behavioral challenges while strengthening resilience and self-esteem.

Shamika is also pursuing her goal of becoming a play therapist and welcomes families seeking individualized, collaborative care that supports the growth potential within every child.
