Bill brings over twenty years of service in the mental health field to the organization. His educational background involves completing a Bachelors in Psychology, a Master’s in Counseling, a graduate certificate in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration. Bill has been licensed as a professional counselor in Florida and North Carolina.

His approach to helping is to meet the person where they are in the context of person-centered therapy. In addition to person centered therapy, Bill has expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and the clinical applications of mindfulness meditation in therapy.  This patient centered care aids the patient in setting effective recovery goals and constructing adaptive steps toward achieving them while developing skills to mange strong emotions.   

Bill’s career has been varied and diverse. He has served as a college instructor in Psychology, has operated his own private practice and has led teams in Hospitals, and Substance Abuse Treatment facilities. Bill embraces the leader/practitioner model of management. He is just as comfortable in group therapy as he is working with data and performing financial analysis.

Bill believes that a multidisciplinary approach to treatment is necessary for those affected by mental health issues.  This approach leverages the state of the art inside the field while helping the person heal on physical, mental and spiritual levels.
