Cherokee Staples, LCSWA

Cherokee is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate. Cherokee attended North Carolina A&T University & the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received her Master of Social Work degree with a focus on cultural competence and child welfare. Cherokee attended Salem College where she received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish Language & Culture. Cherokee primarily works with children utilizing child-centered play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based therapy approaches. Cherokee utilizes a collaborative counseling approach with clients to promote empowerment and healing in a supportive and safe environment.
